Long Looking film text
“After I made Long Looking, I reached out to Meg to help me find the best language to articulate the project to the public. We went back and forth on language and isolated the universal crux of the piece. Together, we landed on a few different lengths of text to represent the film for various PR needs. However, after that process, I was so touched by Meg's words that I filmed one more shot to add to the ending of the film. This process also led to a slight tweak in the title. These last changes undeniably strengthened the end of the film and gave me great closure in that I knew the film was finally finished.” - Carrie Richer, director, Hole Dance Films

Starters emerging artist fundraising dinner party
Guests paid $25 each to attend a homemade artisan dinner where they saw presentations by five local artists. At the end of the evening, the dinner guests voted on which proposal they liked best, and the winning artist received the proceeds. This is a replicable concept that builds community around art and grows investments in local artists.
“Starters was so instrumental for my growth as an artist. The opportunity to have an audience of patrons and supporters open to hearing ideas is a rarity, especially as a younger, emerging artist. Receiving immediate funding without huge application processes, wait times, bureaucracy, is a rare gift. It cleared the way for me to do the one thing I am driven to do: create.” – Walter Gerald

The Poetry Box
I spearheaded this public art installation in Jackson, Wyoming. Working with fused glass artist John Frechette and Jackson Hole Public Art, we created this colorful distribution “box” for poems written by local poets. I can offer guidance on how to do this in your community.

The Katalyst
I had the great fortune to work with motivational speaker and author Kevin Carroll on his book, The Red Rubber Ball at Work: Elevate Your Game Through the Hidden Power of Play. Kevin, aka The Katalyst, asked me to help him conduct interviews with 70+ artists and entrepreneurs about how play informs their successful careers.
